time for a meaty nap

Today I American Midoled it. Check out the latest recap, and Happy Friday! Careful not to get special sauce all over the sheets.

I rather enjoyed this:

"No Norm McDonald, perhaps, but this Norman’s act is enough to elicit cackling and seal-claps from Paula, and we all know that when Paula laughs, Jesus smiles and an angel earns her pleather bustier."

Well done, lady! So funny, and the Twitters were awesome, too.

Um, I mean tweets? Yeah, I think that's what I'm supposed to call them.

Ahh, American Idol. I saw this clip from a Spanish-speaking version of AI on Failblog, and thought of you. It's a young woman singing Mariah's classic lovesong, Ken Lee. As in, "I ken lee without you."

Thanks! I don't know what to call Twittering either, but tweets sounds right...I was super nervous when signing on--do most of our followers just sort of chill out and read what's happening? There seemed to be maybe four or five posting stuff when I was on, but nobody was really conversing..

Annie, goin to the link right now...

I'm afraid of Twitter, but I kinda want to join it just so that I can get Rachel Maddow's tweets.

"I ken leeeeeeeeeeee.... a-libbo-dibbo dout chuuuuuu!"

*I should note that I fully realize, while I'm laughing at Ken Lee, that this is TOTALLY what I sound like to Spanish speakers when I sing La Bamba.

Annie, I get Rachel Maddow's tweets!

Lizz, they do just hang out and read our stuff. A handful of people will reply to our stuff here and there. I love some of them (idolrants and amos-somthingorother).
